New Events Announced! March 2010

Fresno County Public Library is happy to announce Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury as this year's Big Read book. The festivities kick off in March 2010. Here are a few of the exciting programs we'll be offering:

    • Science fiction expo featuring a video conference with Ray Bradbury and an appearance by Tim Hamilton, author of the graphic novel adaptation. Special Rate available for expo attendees at the Picadilly Inn
    • Programs for high school and middle schools, plus books for school classrooms and libraries
    • Theatrical production of Fahrenheit 451 directed by S. Eric Day
    • Programs for children, including visits by firefighters and stories about fire prevention
